The first decade of a collection celebrating The Six Decades of Bond.
The collection is a showcase of the most iconic moments in the six decades of Bond; each decade is encapsulated in its own packaging.
The packaging, which brings James Bond's innovations and inventions to life over the years, has been coloured with one of the trending colours of the decade it represents.
DECADE I
The 1960s were an exceptional decade for James Bond. The supreme spy icon made his big screen debut in 1962 with the incomparable Sean Connery, who would go on to star in six films over the next ten years.
Sir Sean only took a break when George Lazenby starred in On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969, but he returned in triumph in 1971's Diamonds Are Forever.
The pack's design includes sketches from Goldfinger (1964), You Only Live Twice (1967), which features Little Nellie in a fight sequence, and the dummy jetpack worn by Bond in Thunderball (1965).
This exceptional single malt whisky was created by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker, Kirsteen Campbell, to reflect the character of James Bond. He is a force of nature defined by his Scottish heritage, and he carries himself with modesty and humility.
Like James Bond, the expression exudes a sense of style and maturity that has developed over the years. The whisky is consistent across all six bottles.
Fresh and lively notes of lemon and lime, a hint of sherbet, leading to a sweet vanilla and coconut, with a touch of dried figs and raisins.
TASTE
Orange zest and effervescent sherbet with a freshness of lemon, gentle oak and subtle ginger spice, leading to deep dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart with a drizzle of honey.
